Maybe it is blasphemous, but those old Volvo Amazon coupes would look even better as a fastback like a VW Type III, or a liftback like an MGB-GT.

hopefully that isn’t venturing too close to the OTHER Swedish car brand that had liftback hatches... wouldn’t want to suggest anything of the sort.

Don’t want to get into some sort of Sven vs. Ole blood-feud.

I see what you mean, and I’m surprised that something like that hasn’t been custom made yet. The closest you’ll get is a PV544, I guess.
